🎭 City Awards Over $20K in Grants to Local Sports & Culture Groups

Cold Lake City Council has approved over $20,000 in CRACH and goodwill grants this month, supporting groups like the Cold Lake Motocross Association ($10,000), Figure Skating Club ($500), and Ride for Dad ($2,500). An additional $7,000 was granted to the Bonnyville 4-H District for a market steer fundraiser. While eight groups applied, only three CRACH applications were approved; others were incomplete or ineligible. A request to appeal a previous funding decision was denied, as council emphasized fairness and the importance of budgeting for future applicants.
