🎨 Cold Lake Gala Raises $325K for Lifesaving Healthcare Equipment

Cold Lake’s “Evening at the Museum” gala raised an impressive $325,000 on May 3 in support of local healthcare. Hosted by Hearts for Healthcare, the art-filled event featured live performances, raffles, and a fundraising appeal for a Lucas CPR device and ECG machine—far surpassing the $45K goal. Honorees included Dr. Zaid Al-Ani and nurse practitioner Elaine Wall, alongside longtime volunteers. Held at the Cold Lake Energy Centre, the gala blended creativity and community spirit, making a lasting impact on emergency services in the region. Next year’s event is already scheduled for May 2, 2026.

🏁 Canadian Triple Crown Motocross Ignites Cold Lake with High-Speed Action

The Canadian Triple Crown Series tore through Cold Lake on June 7–8, turning the Mason Watt Memorial Raceway into a high-energy motocross battleground. Hosted by the Cold Lake Motocross Association, the event featured 250 amateur riders on Saturday and elite pros on Sunday competing for championship points and cash. Jetwerx COO Kyle Thompson praised the track as one of the best in the national series, expressing hopes to return annually. With roaring engines, steep hills, and strong community vibes, the event showcased Cold Lake as a premier motocross destination and united families around a shared passion for speed.
